Offshore Medic Qualification:
Shall have a minimum of three years clinical experience relevant to the vessel activities and operating environment, have a current professional registration with regulatory body AHPRA, and suitable health practitioner qualification(s), such as:

• Diploma of Paramedical Science
• Bachelor of Nursing
• Master of Nursing
• Bachelor of Medicine
The offshore medic should demonstrate competence in:
• Primary healthcare
• Occupational medicine
• Clinical governance and administration
• Emergency medicine with current qualifications in:
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Advanced Trauma Life Support
• Mass Casualty Incident, Incident Command System, and secondary triage
• Emergency communications
